Behind every shot lies a journey through lines, shapes, and spaces in constant evolution.

I primarily photograph modern architecture and its details, focusing on black-and-white fine art. My work deliberately excludes any human presence, allowing the lines and forms of the architecture to take center stage.

Inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphosis, where everything is about change and transformation, I envisioned an evolution of these images, creating a series that reflects this theme.

My Metamorphosis project began in 2022 and continues to grow. I sought to breathe life into the stillness of architecture, imagining these structures breaking free from the ground and finding a new identity. As Dante Alighieri writes in the Divine Comedy, “And we emerged to see the stars again,” I envisioned them transformed—reborn into something entirely different, echoing themes of change, renewal, and transcendence.

Metamorphosis is the product of my imagination—a transformation of my architectural photographs. By narrowing the field of view to focus on details, the images become a “bridge of connection,” an abstraction that links architecture to its transformation. This process offers viewers a new perspective, gently challenging the boundaries of rational thought.

In this imagined world, buildings come alive. They take flight, break away from the ordinary, and and turn into butterflies, shooting stars, new planets, cosmic explosions, or objects floating weightlessly in space.

Real shapes begin to lose their natural context, destabilizing the viewer and gently leading them on a slow journey into a fantastic universe. Through an evolutionary exhibition, what once was familiar becomes something entirely new. Truth turns into illusion, revealing a surreal and dreamlike world where the mind projects emotions, moods, and scenarios, allowing imagination and sensitivity to run free.

Dietro ogni scatto si cela un viaggio attraverso linee, forme e spazi in continua evoluzione.
Fotografo principalmente l’architettura moderna e i suoi dettagli, concentrandomi sull’arte fine in bianco e nero. Il mio lavoro esclude deliberatamente la presenza umana, permettendo alle linee e alle forme dell’architettura di diventare protagoniste.

Ispirato alle Metamorfosi di Ovidio, dove tutto ruota attorno al cambiamento e alla trasformazione, ho immaginato un’evoluzione di queste immagini, creando una serie che riflette questo tema.
Il mio progetto Metamorphosis è iniziato nel 2022 e continua a crescere. Ho cercato di infondere vita nella staticità dell’architettura, immaginando queste strutture che si liberano dal terreno e trovano una nuova identità. Come scrive Dante Alighieri nella Divina Commedia, “E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle,” le ho immaginate trasformate—rinate in qualcosa di completamente diverso, riecheggiando temi di cambiamento, rinnovamento e trascendenza.

Metamorphosis è il prodotto della mia immaginazione—una trasformazione delle mie fotografie architettoniche. Restringendo il campo visivo per concentrarmi sui dettagli, le immagini diventano un “ponte di connessione,” un’astrazione che collega l’architettura alla sua trasformazione. Questo processo offre agli spettatori una nuova prospettiva, sfidando delicatamente i confini del pensiero razionale.

In questo mondo immaginato, gli edifici prendono vita. Volano, si staccano dall’ordinario e si trasformano in farfalle, stelle cadenti, nuovi pianeti, esplosioni cosmiche o oggetti che fluttuano senza peso nello spazio.
Le forme reali iniziano a perdere il loro contesto naturale, destabilizzando l’osservatore e conducendolo lentamente in un universo fantastico. Attraverso un’esposizione evolutiva, ciò che era familiare diventa qualcosa di completamente nuovo. La realtà si trasforma in illusione, rivelando un mondo surreale e onirico dove la mente proietta emozioni, stati d’animo e scenari, permettendo all’immaginazione e alla sensibilità di correre libere.
