Giusy Baffi, milanese, si muove attivamente nel mondo della fotografia con partecipazioni a mostre collettive, concorsi nazionali ed internazionali. Ha iniziato a fotografare da giovanissima, interrompendo questa sua passione per lunghi anni nei quali si è dedicata al lavoro e alla famiglia. Ripresa la macchina fotografica nel 2012, nel 2014 ha vinto il concorso fotografico Unicredit/Corriere della Sera, la foto vincitrice è stata esposta per tutto il mese di febbraio 2014 in Piazza Gae Aulenti a Milano, in seguito le sue foto sono state pubblicate su importanti riviste e quotidiani anche internazionali.
Nel 2015 le sue foto “Luci d’Artista a Salerno” sono state pubblicate sul libro “E poi la luce” edizioni Fioranna, successivamente su calendari animalisti e su alcuni siti professionali.
Sempre nel 2015 dieci foto sono state pubblicate nel libro di fotografia WE PHOTO Architectures, e altre dieci in DIFFERENT VISION ed. WE PHOTO, replicando ancora per WE PHOTO Minimal nel 2016 WE PHOTO Landsscapes nel 2017 con dieci foto per categoria.
Successivamente ha partecipato a diverse mostre fotografiche collettive nazionali, nel 2018 alla mostra itinerante “Come look my town” organizzata dal gruppo Archiminimal che in 10 mesi ha toccato le più prestigiose piazze italiane, a mostre internazionali sia con foto stampate che con proiezioni in digitale, ad Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlino, Barcellona, Atene, Vienna, Belgrado, Lisbona, Cipro, Londra, Chicago, Melbourne, Johannesburg, Sofia, Venezia, al MIA Photo Fair di Milano 2018, MIA Photo Fair 2019, MIA Photo Fair 2023 presso lo stand Gurushots.
Ha partecipato a diversi concorsi prestigiosi internazionali conseguendo importanti e ambiti riconoscimenti:
Nel 2019 ha ottenuto la “Honorable mention 2019” categoria Architetture da parte di IPA – International Photography Awards – e “Honorable Mention 2019” categoria Astratto al PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris.
Nel 2020 una sua foto è stata esposta a Roma nella mostra collettiva “Humans in Architecture” organizzata dallo studio di architettura Celletti di Roma, è risultata finalista al Concorso SIPA- SIENA PHOTO AWARDS 2020 – e ottenuto la BRONZE MEDAL per la serie “Cieli neri” categoria Architettura al PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris.
Nel 2021 ha di nuovo ottenuto la “Honorable Mention 2021” per la serie Freaky Buildings categoria Architettura al PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris; la “Honorable Mention 2021” categoria Fine Art al TIFA – Tokyo International Foto Awards; la “Honorable Mention 2021” categoria Landscape al BIFA – Budapest International Foto Awards.
Nello stesso anno quattro sue foto hanno ottenuto la “Honorable Mention 2021” con IPA – International Photography Awards per le categorie Architetture e Astratto.

Giusy Baffi lives in Milan and she is actively involved in the world of photography, participating in collective exhibitions, national, and international competitions. She began taking photographs at a very young age, pausing this passion for many years during which she dedicated herself to work and family. Resuming her photography in 2012, in 2014, she won the Unicredit/Corriere della Sera photography competition. The winning photo was exhibited throughout February 2014 in Piazza Gae Aulenti in Milan. Subsequently, her photos have been published in important national and international magazines and newspapers.
In 2015, her photos of “Luci d’Artista a Salerno” were published in the book “E poi la luce” by Fioranna editions. Her work has also appeared in animalist calendars and on various professional websites.
In 2015, ten of her photos were published in the photography book “WE PHOTO Architectures,” followed by another ten in “DIFFERENT VISION” by WE PHOTO. She replicated this feat for “WE PHOTO Minimal” in 2016 and “WE PHOTO Landscapes” in 2017, each with ten photos per category.
She then participated in several national collective photography exhibitions. In 2018, she was part of the traveling exhibition “Come look my town,” organized by the Archiminimal group, which visited prestigious Italian squares over ten months. Her work also made appearances in international exhibitions through printed photos and digital projections in cities like Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Barcelona, Athens, Vienna, Belgrade, Lisbon, Cyprus, London, Chicago, Melbourne, Johannesburg, Sofia, and Venice. She showcased her work at the MIA Photo Fair in Milan in 2018, 2019, and 2023 at the Gurushots booth.
She participated in prestigious international competitions and earned significant recognition:
In 2019, she received an “Honorable Mention 2019” in the Architecture category from the IPA – International Photography Awards and another “Honorable Mention 2019” in the Abstract category from PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris.
In 2020, one of her photos was exhibited in the collective “Humans in Architecture” show organized by the Celletti architecture studio in Rome. She was a finalist in the SIPA – SIENA PHOTO AWARDS 2020 competition and received the BRONZE MEDAL for the “Cieli neri” series in the Architecture category from PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris.
In 2021, she once again received the “Honorable Mention 2021” for the “Freaky Buildings” series in the Architecture category from PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris. She also earned an “Honorable Mention 2021” in the Fine Art category from TIFA – Tokyo International Foto Awards and another “Honorable Mention 2021” in the Landscape category from BIFA – Budapest International Foto Awards. In the same year, four of her photos received “Honorable Mention 2021” awards from IPA – International Photography Awards in the Architecture and Abstract categories.
In 2022, she won the “PREMIO RUNNER UP” in the Abstract category and the “PREMIO COMMENDED” in the Creative Abstract category at SIPA SIENA PHOTO AWARDS 2022. She received several “Honorable Mention 2022” awards in categories like Astratto and Fine Art from PX3 – Prix de la Photographie Paris, and Fine Art-Abstract from IPA – International Photography Awards and BIFA – Budapest International Foto Awards. She achieved the “Gold Medal 2022” in the Fine Art Abstract category from TIFA – Tokyo International Foto Awards and was recognized as the “WINNER DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR 2022” in the Fine Art-Abstract category at the MPA Monochrome Photography Awards 2022. Her work also received another “Honorable Mention 2022” in the Fine Art-Abstract category from the same competition.
